Jeff Kindler is a healthcare executive, investor and advisor who has held leadership positions at some of the world’s most recognized companies. Currently, Kindler serves as CEO of Centrexion Corporation, Executive Chairman of vTv, Venture Partner at Lux Capital, Managing Director at Starboard Capital Partners, and a principal in and advisor to a number of privately held health care firms and sponsors. Jeff was formerly the Chairman and CEO of Pfizer. As CEO, he led Pfizer’s $68 billion merger and acquisition of Wyeth and worked with former President Bill Clinton to help bring medicines to impoverished patients in the developing world.
Dr. Francois Nader has an extensive background in drug development and success in leading an organization through late stage development into global commercialization in rare diseases. As CEO he helped engineer a massive restructuring, cutting costs and transforming NPS Pharma into a leading global rare disease company.
Francois currently serves as chairman of the board of directors of Acceleron Pharma (NASDAQ: XLRN) and board director of Advanced Accelerator Applications (NASDAQ: AAAP), Clementia Pharmaceuticals and ArRETT Neuroscience.
Ellen Zane recently retired as President & CEO of Tufts Medical Center and the Floating Hospital for Children. Ellen remains involved at Tufts Medical Center as a vice chair of the Board of Trustees. She holds two faculty appointments at Tufts University School of Medicine including: Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Clinical Care Research and Assistant Professor of Public Health & Community Medicine. Additionally, Ellen holds a faculty appointment as Adjunct Assistant Professor of Health Policy and Management at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
Jim Geraghty has been a senior executive in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and venture capital for over thirty years. Today he serves as chairman of the board of two publicly traded biopharmaceutical companies, Idera Pharmaceuticals and Juniper Pharmaceuticals. He is also a member of the boards of Voyager Therapeutics and Fulcrum Therapeutics, both of which he helped co-found during his three years as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Third Rock Ventures.
Irene Chang Britt is an experienced and forward-thinking independent board director, currently serving on the boards of Dunkin Brands Group Inc. (NASDAQ: DNKN – Chair, Nomination and Corporate Governance), menswear leader Tailored Brands Inc. (NYSE: TLRD) and next generation nutrition company TerraVia Inc. (NASDAQ: TVIA – Chairperson of the Board). She is a National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) Board Leadership Fellow and a frequent speaker on corporate governance best practices. Irene was formerly President, Pepperidge Farm and Senior Vice President, Global Baking and Snacking for the Campbell Soup Company.
Brian Johnson is Vice Chair of the Corporate Practice and Co-Chair of the Capital Markets Group at WilmerHale. Brian has extensive experience representing public and private companies and financial institutions in a wide variety of corporate finance and other complex strategic transactions.
